Aquamatic report 20% increase in business for maintenance division
The water industry’s increasing keenness for true, long term equipment reliability has been highlighted by wastewater sampler manufacturer Aquamatic, who report a 20% increase in business during the past 12 months for its maintenance division; the third consecutive year of growth.
According to the Manchester firm, the boom in customers requiring service packages is also due in part to the industry’s enhanced understanding of the benefits that a well maintained wastewater sampler can bring.
Aquamatic’s Managing Director, Jeremy Smith explained: “Our wastewater samplers have become an increasingly critical piece of plant equipment. They can make a world of difference to operational efficiency, effluent costs and potential reputation-damaging fines”.
He added: “The trend towards preventative maintenance provides peace of mind and accurate cost budgeting. Who better to provide this service than us, the manufacturer. It makes perfect sense”.
Fresh from signing two new maintenance contracts with its major water company customers, Smith reports that most wastewater sampler users opt for a minimum of twice per year equipment service, depending on the frequency and nature of the sampling application.
Aquamatic’s growth in this area also reflects the increasing demand for maintenance to be included as part of the package when customers purchase samplers from the company’s comprehensive range – all of which is MCERTS approved. The range includes the new S300 Stationary Wastewater Sampler Series, capable of housing a wide range of single and multiple container configurations in its large, fully insulated, refrigerated lower compartment.
Albion Chemicals, the UK and Ireland’s leading chemicals distributor, has agreed an exclusive working partnership with Arch Water Products to present Calcium Hypochlorite to the UK water utilities market.
The measurement and control of Free Chlorine has never been easier than with the new FCA-22 Analyzer System from Electro-Chemical Devices, Inc., which features a virtually plumb-and-play design.
