Process Instruments has introduced an innovative automatic calibrating and self cleaning pH meter suitable for potable and most process waters.

Process Instruments has introduced an innovative automatic calibrating and self cleaning pH meter suitable for potable and most process waters. The CRIUS 100 has an auto-buffer recognition system which means that it can autocalibrate by passing a cleaning fluid over the sensor at user defined intervals, and then introduce pH 4, pH 7 and pH 10 buffers.

The pH meter then calibrates itself and even records and reports a confidence in its calibration. The autoclean and autocalibration functions enable the meter to give 6 months of operation without any operator intervention.

The CRIUS 100 can also text the user when it is in alarm, running out of reagent or needs a routine maintenance.

Dr Craig Stracey of Process Instruments said: “We are continually listening to our customers and responding to their demands, which is why we have developed the special features on the CRIUS 100.

“The very few auto calibrating pH meters available on the market are cumbersome and expensive. We have addressed these issues with a low cost, extremely reliable and simple to use unit. We are so confident that our customers will love it that The CRIUS 100 is available to purchase with a full money back guarantee.”

Process Instruments, which operates globally, is based in Burnley, Lancashire and is dedicated to providing solutions to problems in the water, waste, chemical and paper industries. Clients include Georgia Pacific, St Regis, Rhodia, Bristol Water, Northumbrian Water, Urenco and Dow Chemicals.
