Grade 50 Stainless Steel Pump lifting chains with master links
Friday, 21 May 2010

Bradney Chain has further developed its range of Grade 50 Stainless Steel Pump lifting chains with master links.

The newly revised range is based on the  BS EN 818 and  BS EN 1677 series of Standards.  They cover short link chain for lifting purposes and components for slings, but the steel chemical composition and heat treatment clauses are not applicable to the stainless steel used for this product.

Each sling is permanently fitted with a CE marked stainless steel identification tag permitting full traceability and detailing the WLL.  It is supplied with a Certificate of Test and Examination/Declaration of Conformity.

All slings are manufactured by Bradney Chain in the UK from AISI 316 stainless steels. They incorporate exclusively short link chain, are 100% proof tested after assembly to twice the working load limit (WLL), and offer a minimum four-to-one safety factor.

In addition to the master link design Bradney Chain also manufacture Stainless Steel AISI 316 Pump Lifting Chains with rings. A more limited range is offered for customers who prefer this design, although it must be understood that rings are not covered by BS EN 818 series Standards.  In all other respects the above information on pump chains with master links applies.

Bradney Chain have been making chains, lifting gear, forgings, fabrications and associated equipment since 1890and has a reputation for high quality products and efficient service. The company maintains a stringent quality control over all stages of production and is certified to ISO 9001:2008.
