Severn Trent facing second multi-million pound fine

Severn Trent Water is due to be sentenced today at the Old Bailey for two separate offences in 2001 and 2002 under charges brought by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) .

After completion of the largest annual capital programme in Bristol Water’s  history at some £50 million, Chairman Moger Woolley said that the company’s proposals for its 25 year water strategy had identified a need to double investment levels for a sustained period.

Severn Trent Water publishes 25 year water resources plan

Severn Trent Water has published its draft Water Resources Management Plan 2009 setting out its proposed 25 year strategy for maintaining the balance between supply and demand for water in the region and maintaining a service level of no more than three hosepipe bans per 100 years.
