Ofwat appoints new director of network regulation

Ofwat has announced the appointment of George Day as Director of Network Regulation. George will formally take up his new post on 9 June 2008.

Mr. Day joined Ofwat in 1999 as a senior economist – prior to this new post he was Head of Asset Strategy. In his new role his responsibilities will cover asset strategy, quality enhancements, water resource economics, comparative efficiency and climate change. He will also be a member of the Ofwat management team and attend Ofwat’s regular Board meetings.
