Thursday, 07 January 2010

Global consultancy Scott Wilson has strengthened its masterplanning and policy expertise with the arrival of a 12-strong Masterplanning and Urban Design team.

The new team will complement its existing planners and enable the business to offer an integrated approach to clients in the public and private sector, including infrastructure and land use planning.

Members of the new team have joined from the Tribal Group. The team will be based in London and Belfast and will be led by Dr Patrick Clarke, along with two senior directors, Simon Gray and Ben Castell.

The new team will be fully integrated into Scott Wilson’s existing Development Services business which already has a strong reputation for providing planning and design solutions.

Jerome Munro-Lafon, Scott Wilson Group Managing Director for UK & Ireland, said:

“The addition of the team is fundamental to Scott Wilson in its drive to further develop our integrated service and to offer clients a one-stop-shop which covers a range of professional disciplines. The team has been closely involved in shaping UK government planning and design policy over the last 20 years.”
