An advanced form of surface protection means that the new pump is highly resistant to harsh media.  It also features newly developed hose technology that provides extensive chemical resistance enabling the SPX-DuCoNite pump to handle corrosive chemicals reliably for long periods.

The SPX-DuCoNite hose pump is available in four sizes, with a capacity of up to 5000 l/hr and pressures of up to 16 bar.  The pumps are self-priming and can run dry indefinitely without damage.

The pump is able to handle a variety of harsh materials, including sodium hypochlorite, titanium dioxide, sodium hydroxide, catalytic agents, sulphuric acid, lime slurry, acidic liquids, solvents and resins. This means that the new pump is particularly suitable for applications in the water, food and chemical industries.

Peristaltic hose pumps are virtually maintenance-free, with no seals, valves or rotors, but simply an easily-replaceable hose.  As the fluid only comes into contact with the hose and not the pump itself, abrasive and corrosive materials can safely bepumped without damage to the pump.
