Dwr Cymru Welsh Water is to hold public exhibitions setting out plans for two of its upcoming investment schemes.
Residents in Bodffordd are being invited to view the plans of Dwr Cymru Welsh Water’s £7 million water investment scheme on Monday 3 November. The exhibition will detail plans for the work and will enable local people to discuss the work with members of the project team.
The scheme, which involves laying over 12 kilometres of water mains, building a new pumping station and upgrading a number of existing Welsh Water assets, will be completed in two phases and is essential to improve the water supply to customers on Anglesey. The scheme will be delivered by Laing O’Rourke, working with United Utilities, on behalf of Welsh Water.
Dwr Cymru Welsh Water will also hold a public exhibition on Thursday 23 October detailing the second phase of its £709,000 investment scheme to deliver a high standard of drinking water to customers in the Vale of Glamorgan. The scheme, which began in Peterstone-Super-Ely, is scheduled to move to the Michaelston and Llandough areas of the county as the work of upgrading 6 km of water mains continues.
