Yorkshire Water awards chemicals supply contracts

Yorkshire Water has awarded a number of chemicals supply contracts.

The majority of the contracts, which include the supply of sulphuric acid, sodium hypochlorite and liquid chlorine, were won by Cheshire-based Water Treatment Solutions Ltd. BOC won a separate contract for the supply of liquid chlorine.

Four companies bid for the annual contracts, which have  two further one year extension options.
