PwC wins £6m Welsh Water retail transformation programme contract

PriceWaterhouseCoopers has won a £6 million contract for the management and implementation of initiatives under Welsh Water’s Retail Transformation Programme.

PWC was one of two companies to bid for the work which went out to tender in June 2015 via the Utilities Vendor Data Base (UVDB). The UVDB is the established qualification service for the UK utilities industries operated and administered by Achilles Information Limited on behalf of the subscribers.

The subscribing utilities use the UVDB as a common system for the registration of suppliers, contractors and service providers.
