Scottish Water Business Stream Ltd has awarded a contract for meter reading and temporary disconnection services worth £4.2 million.

The Field Services contract covers the provision of meter reading, survey temporary disconnection and reconnection services.

Macclesfield based company Meter U Ltd has won the contract – one of two companies in the bidding for the work.

Business Stream Ltd is the subsidiary company set up by Scottish Water to provide retail water and sewerage services to business customers operating as a standalone company.
