United Utilities has awarded network modelling framework contracts worth up to £24 million in total to four companies.
The contract went out to tender in the following three Lots:
- Lot 1-Water Network Modelling (est value £3,200,000)
- Lot 2- Wastewater Network Modelling (est value £16,800,000 )
- Lot 3- Specialist Modelling (est value £4,000,000)
The water company was looking to appoint a maximum of seven companies to the framework agreements. Atkins has won a place on all three Lots. Mouchel is also on the framework for Lot 1, while MWH and RPS Environmental Management Ltd have both been awarded a place on Lots 2 and 3 respectively.
The framework agreements have been awarded for an initial 3 year term, with a facility to extend the agreements by up to a further 5 years.
Four companies in total were in the bidding for Lot 1, with five companies in the bidding for Lots 2 and 3.
