Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with a contract for laboratory analytical sampling of waste water, soil and sludge worth an estimated £3.5 million.
The contract covers sampling, analysis and reporting requirements to both UKAS and MCERTs accredited levels including, but not limited to soils, trade effluent and formal samples, tankered waste (domestic and trade), landfill monitoring, pipeline assessments, settled sewage, OSM and UWW (Urban Waste Water).
The framwork contract, which is being tendered in Lots, will be let for an initial 3 years and may be extended for a further 4 years in increments to be determined.
