Thames Water is turning to the supply chain and looking to the marketplace to identify innovative technologies in its continuing efforts to drive down leakage.

Thames wants to create an open register to allow it to have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies and innovations in the leak detection market.

The technologies will need to demonstrate that they are capable of detecting leaks on trunk main networks. Successful suppliers will be placed on the open register and invited to participate in future projects as and when they arise.

All suppliers who want to respond to Thames’ request will need to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ).

Admittance to the register of itself is not a firm guarantee of any work from Thames Water.
