Wessex Water has awarded contracts for a trenchless pipework framework agreement for the upcoming AMP7 investment period.

The framework agreement provides for different technologies of trenchless pipework which is subdivided into the following 4 Lots:

Lot 1 - trenchless pipework guided auger boring/pipe jacking

• Lot 2 trenchless pipework horizontal directional drilling
• Lot 3 trenchless pipework shaft construction
• Lot 4 trenchless pipework pipe bursting/slip lining

All works within each respective Lot are required to be provided in accordance with Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry (CESWI), 7th Edition or its successive editions.

Four companies were in the bidding for the work – no information is available about which suppliers were successful.
