Yorkshire Water tenders £8 million AMP7 contract for the repair and maintenance of generators

Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for the hire, repair and maintenance of standby generators and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) worth an estimated £8 million.

The contract covers the supply, maintenance/repair and hire of generator sets, ups, diesel pumps and associated equipment across Yorkshire Water’s region of supply.

Scope of services includes:

  • proactive service and maintenance of generator sets, UPS and diesel pumps as per issued schedule of planned works (including inspection of fuel storage and maintenance of Low Voltage Circuit Breakers);
  • reactive repairs to any generator assets;
  • hire of standby generators and associated equipment;
  • out of hours availability and emergency callout;
  • refuelling;
  • supply of new generators

The framework agreement will run for a 3-year initial term with the potential to extend for up to an additional 3 years.
