Coventry City Council has gone out to tender with a contract for CCTV services to survey drainage systems, culverts and pipes worth an estimated £1.5 million.

The Council is looking for suppliers to provide CCTV survey services to survey and report on the condition of highway drainage systems, culverts and smaller diameter pipes and systems associated with properties such as schools. Man Entry surveys may also be required sporadically during the

The contract is being tendered in four separate Lots:

• Lot 1. CCTV Inspection and clearance of Property drainage systems
• Lot 2. CCTV inspection and clearance of highway drainage systems - Minor drains
• Lot 3. CCTV inspection and clearance of highway drainage systems - Major drains
• Lot 4. Drainage surveys, CCTV and root cutting

Initial contract term is 12 months with three further annual extension options.

The Council is looking to appoint up to eight suppliers to the framework.
