United Utilities tenders £50m AMP7 electrical services and repair framework contract

United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework contract for electrical services and repair worth an estimated £50 million.

UNITED UTILITIES

The water company is inviting applications for companies to undertake electrical services and repair on sites throughout the United Utilities region. Services to be provided under the contract include:

  • servicing
  • overhaul
  • repair
  • inspection
  • fault diagnosis
  • corrective and remedial work
  • alterations to circuits
  • replacement of equipment

 

In addition, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and placing into service of new equipment will be also covered under the contract.

The framework is being tendered in the following Lots:

  • Lot 1 - Electrical Services and Repair North (£15 million)
  • Lot 2 - Electrical Services and Repair South (£15 million)
  • Lot 3 - Electrical Service and Repair Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) (£1.3 million)
  • Lot 4 - Electrical Service and Repair Small Panels (£7 million)
  • Lot 5 - Electrical Service and Repair of Ex Electrical Assets within Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres (DSEAR) Environments (£11.7 million)

 

Initial contract term is 3 years with 5 further annual extension options . United Utilities is looking to appoint up to 17 suppliers to the framework agreement.
