Anglian Water has launched a pre-market engagement initiative ahead of going out to tender for its upcoming Energy Challenge.

The water company is looking to engage with the market in order to understand what opportunities could be sought to aid its Energy challenges, both in terms of the current volatile financial costs and also the carbon impact that energy can have.

Anglian Water has published a Periodic Indicative Notice inviting interested organisations to complete a supplier questionnaire, together with a guidance document setting out its aims.

Deadline for companies to submit responses is 5 September 2022 and the estimated date of publication of a formal contract notice is 3 January 2023.
