Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework `contract for operational instrumentation control automation worth an estimated £68.7 million.

The water company is looking to select suppliers for maintenance, repair and installation for all its instrumentation control automation and the provision of legacy parts and equipment. The contract is being tendered in two separate Lots:
Lot 1 Provision of Legacy Parts & Equipment
This lot is for the provision of legacy parts & equipment for ICA
Lot 2 Installation, Repair and Maintenance for all ICA
Initial contract term is four years with further extension options available.
The water company is looking to appoint up to 14 suppliers to the framework agreement.
