Anglian Water has awarded an AMP7/8 contract for financial advisory services worth an estimated £8 million.

The scope of the contractt is is linked to a number of Anglian Water’s business activities, including:

• South Lincolnshire Reservoir
• Fens Reservoir
• Price Review business plan support
• Any projects which are delivered via a competitive framework - ie Direct Procurement for Customer or Specified Infrastructure Project Regulations rather than through the price control

Professional services firm KPMG LLP has been awarded the contract – one of two organisations who tendered for the work.

With a revenue of £2.72 billion in the year ended 30 September 2022 and approximately 17,000 partners and staff, the limited liability partnership operates from 20 offices across the UK.

KPMG will now support the water company from the early stages of development of the commercial and tender strategy, design of the procurement and commercial arrangements, running of the tender process and all regulatory and market engagement where relevant.
