Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for financial audit services worth an estimated £7 million.

The water company’s current auditor will cease providing services following the audit for the year ending 31 March 2025.

Severn Trent is now seeking to select a new auditor to be appointed at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. The initial appointment will be for the audit of the financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2026.

The intention is to appoint for an auditor to Severn Trent plc for an initial 5-year term with options to extend for up tofive further 12 month periods.

The appointment of the auditor is subject to annual reappointment at the company AGM.
