Southern Water has awarded a number of contracts for valves and actuators with a total value of £8.19 million.

The contracts, which were tendered in a number of separate Lots, have been awarded to the following companies:

• Lot 2 Non-Return Valves - Supply and Spares - AVK UK Limited
• Lot 3 Air Valves - Supply and Spares - AVK UK Ltd
• Lot 4a Penstocks, Stopclogs & Cloughs Supply and Spares - Glenfield Invicta Ltd
• Lot 4b Penstocks, Stopclogs & Cloughs Supply and Installation - Glenfield Invicta Ltd
• Lot 4c Penstocks, Stopclogs & Cloughs Inspection Services - Glenfield Invicta Ltd
• Lot 4d Penstocks, Stopclogs & Cloughs Repairs and Maintenance - Glenfield Invicta Ltd
• Lot 5 Hydrants - Supply and Spares - AVK UK Ltd
• Lot 6 Maintenance - AVK UK Ltd, Glenfield Invicta Ltd, HVL Solutions Ltd
• Lot 7a Actuators Supply and Spares - Auma Actuators Ltd, Rotork UK Ltd
• Lot 7b Actuators Supply and Installation - Auma Actuators Ltd, Rotork UK Ltd
• Lot 7c Actuators Repairs and Maintenance - Auma Actuators Ltd, Rotork UK Ltd

At the time of going out to tender Southern Water envisaged appointing a maximum of 5 suppliers to the framework agreement.

Initial contract term is four years with four further extension options.
