THAMES WATER HQ

The water company is tendering for the provision of support services for the SAP ECC platform. The service will involve a third-party resolving flagged issues with the SAP ECC platform and ensuring the platform continues to run as requested by Thames Water.

SAP ECC (also referred to as SAP ERP) incorporates the key business functions of an organization all in one place - the core processes needed to run a company: finance, human resources, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, sales etc.

Thames Water is looking for long-term price stability for these services and prefers a 3-year contract, with allowable 1 year extensions up to a maximum of 5 years in total contract length.

The utilty is looking to put a framework agreement in place with a single operator - the work can be delivered remotely, either in the UK or abroad.

All suppliers who want to respond to the tender must request a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ). If the project requires it, interested will also receive an additional and separate survey to complete for Data Protection.

Thames points out that the client may be Thames Water Utilities Limited or another company within the Kemble Water group structure.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 7 February 2025 – click here to access the tender documentation.
