Northumbrian Water Group tenders c £15m contract for intelligence & analytics partners framework agreement

Northumbrian Water Group has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for an intelligence and analytics partners framework agreement worth £14.96 million.

The utility is looking to put the framework agreement in place to support in the development and implementation of data science solutions over the next three to five years.

The Intelligence and Analytics team at Nortumbrian Water intend to set up a framework with a minimum of 4 suppliers and to allocate a partner on each of their four data squads to support that squad's activities.

Suppliers who are not appointed on any of the lots will still have the opportunity to be placed on the framework.

The 4 data squads are as follows:

  • Lot 1 - Wastewater Squad
  • Lot 2 - Water Squad
  • Lot 3 – Customer Squad (including Smart)
  • Lot 4 - Central Squad (other central business support).

 

Initial contract term is three years with further potential extension options available.

The procurement process will be conducted electronically with all documents and communication being managed through the Northumbrian Water e-Sourcing Spend Management portal Ariba.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 14 February 2025 - expressions of interest must be sent be sent to the e-mail address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Once an expression of interest has been received, applicants will then be given access to the Ariba portal within 48 hours from request (where possible) via an email (provided as part of supplier contact details) with a link to access the Ariba portal. Interested suppliers will be required to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PPQ) in Ariba - the PQQ process closes at 12:00pm on 28 February 2025.
