NI Water has gone out to tender with a contract for M and E Services with Mechanical Installation, Repair and Maintenance with an estimated total value of £79.8 million.

The water company is looking to appoint a contractor to provide M and E Services with Mechanical Installation, Repair and Maintenance for the full range of manufacturer’s equipment currently within NI Water’s asset base.

The contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary skilled and unskilled labour together with the materials to carry out the work in accordance with the Specification, statutory regulations and to the satisfaction of NI Water.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 20 January 2027 to 19 January 2030 with further possible extension options up to 19 January 2034.

The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:

• Lot 1. MIRM services - North West - £39.9 million including VAT
• Lot 2. MIRM services - South East - £39.9 million including VAT

Deadline for submission of enquiries is 11:59pm on 25 March 2026 and the deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 12:00pm on 1 April 2026.
