South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAST) has awarded Lot 2 of a contract for water maintenance and testing services to South West Water with an estimated total value off £338,500 including VAT.

The contract was was awarded in two separate Lots – Lot 1 for water risk assessments with an estimated value of £54,440 including VAT was awarded to Rock Compliance Ltd.

Eleven suppliers tendered for Lot 1 and ten companies tendered for Lot 2.

Earliest date the contracts will be signed is 31 August 2026 – Lot 1 start and end dates are 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029 with a further possible extension option up to 30 September 2031. Lot 2 start and end dates are 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029 with a further possible extension option up to 30 September 2031.

The contract had an initial value of £2,244,000 including VAT when it was first tendered in May 2026 made up of £481,200 including VAT for Lot 1 and £1,762,800 including VAT for Lot 2.
