The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership has awarded a contract for the provision of water supply services to Source for Business Ltd, the trading brand of Pennon Water Services Ltd - a Joint Venture between Pennon Group Plc and South Staffordshire Plc.

The contract, which has a value of £828,000 including VAT, was tendered by ESOS Energy Ltd on behalf of Midsomer Norton Schools Trust - scope of the contract covers the provision of water supply services to the Trust.

The supplier will be required to ensure continuity of water supply and deliver all onboarding and switching activities (including data collection and industry flows) so that supply commences on the agreed start date with no avoidable interruption to any site.

Contract award decision date was 24 August 2026 – the standstill period will end on 3 September 2026.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029 and the earliest date the contract will be signed is 7 September 2026.

Source for Business Ltd was one of four suppliers who tendered for the work - Water Plus Ltd,

Anglian Water Business (National) Ltd. trading as Wave Utilities and Mitie Waste & Environmental Services Ltd also submitted tenders.
