Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for the supply of standard and non-standard boundary boxes.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 12 January 2027 to 11 January 2032 with a further possible extension option up to 10 January 2035. Estimated contract award decision date is 11 January 2027.

The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:

Lot 1. Standard Boundary Boxes

Supply of 25mm standard boundary boxes and associated components for use within Southern Water's water distribution network, supporting both reactive maintenance activities and smart metering installation programmes.

Lot 2. Non Standard Boundary Boxes

Supply of non-standard, multi-property and specialist boundary boxes and associated components for use within Southern Water's water distribution network, supporting both reactive maintenance activities and smart metering installation programmes.

Deadline for submission of enquiries about the tender is 5:00pm on 30 September 2026 and tender submission deadline is 5:00pm on 7 October 2026.
