Thames Water is launching a preliminary consultation with major tier 1 contractors to inviting them to put forward proposals for the procurement of the £4.1bilion Thames Tideway Tunnel project.

Interested companies must be able to demonstrate experience in managing and delivering complex major civils and tunnelling works, together with their financial capacity.

Emails should include:

• Company name
• Contact details (name, position, telephone, email and postal address) for prime contact and any secondary contacts
• The legal status of the economic operator and relevant registered company registration number
• Area of interest - categories as follows:

1.Tier 1 main works

2. MEICA

3. Marine transportation/logistics

4. Provision of tunnel boring machines

5. Other (specify other area)

The deadline for companies to register their interest is 4pm on Friday 23^rd November 2012.
