The deadline to submit expressions of interest in tendering for United Utilities £26 million Operational Technology Systems Integration Services contract is approaching.
Operational Technology Systems Integration Services are required to facilitate the end to end, site to centre integration of intelligent devices into the United Utilities wider business strategy.
The services to be tendered relate to the design, supply, configuration, testing, commissioning, documentation and optimisation of Systems Integration (SI) process control software, including PLC, HMI, SCADA Systems, telemetry interfaces and associated intelligent field devices (e.g. motor starters, actuators & instrumentation).
The contract covers both new builds and legacy equipment interface/modification including communications (eg. Ethernet and Profibus DP/PA).
The framework will cover all Systems Integration Services procured by a variety of entities carrying out works for United Utilities, including:
- CDP (Construction Delivery Partners);
- NMA (Network Maintenance Alliance);
- CTS (Competitive Tender Services);
- AMS (Asset Maintenance Support);
- Wholesale (including Water, Wastewater, Networks and Operational Technology);
- Other Kit Framework Suppliers.
The Framework Agreement, which has an estimated value of between £18 - £26 million, will be awarded for a 3 year period with the option to extend up to an additional 5 years subject to performance in 12 month increments.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 31st July 2014, with applicants required to complete and return a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire 10.00am on that date.
