Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a framework contract worth up to £15 million for screens and screenings handling.

The water company is looking to appoint a maximum of two suppliers to the framework agreement, which could run for up to twelve years. The initial contract will run from  1^st April 2015 to 31^st March  2021.

Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement is between £10m to £15m. The contract is divided into the following three lots to be supplied at any Scottish Water Location, each with a value of between £3m to £5m.

• Lot 1: Supply and/or Installation of Inlet Screens
• Lot 2: Supply and/or Installation of Screenings Handling
• Lot 3: Supply and/or Installation of Sludge Screens
