Creditors voted on 19 June 2026 to approve the Requests, which included extending the June Release Condition to 30 June 2026; and amending the dates and amounts of scheduled drawdowns under the Facility by Thames Water to reflect its anticipated liquidity needs.

To date, the ten previous sets of consent requests approved by creditors have seen the utility draw £1.837 billion of the £2.25 billion available to it.

In February 2026 Thames Water Utilities Ltd and its subsidiary, Thames Water Super Senior Issuer plc launched the process to allocate a further £823 million under a £1.5 billion Accordion facility.

At that point Thames had so far drawn £1.426 billion of the initial £1.5 billion available under the super senior liquidity facility it entered into with the Super Senior Issuer in 2025.

Thames Water has reiterated that it continues to work closely with stakeholders to secure a market-led solution.
