The Environment Agency has published flood risk management plan scoping reports which set out the approach of the draft FRMPs in England.
A scoping report has been produced for each river basin district (RBD). There are 10 river basin districts (RBDs) which cover England, including 3 which cross borders with Scotland or Wales. The Solway Tweed RBD crosses the border with Scotland. The Dee and Severn RBDs cross the border with Wales.
The FRMP scoping reports are a part of the 6 year planning cycle to manage flood risk from main rivers, the sea and reservoirs across England and Wales. The Environment Agency will consult on the draft FRMPs between September 2014 and December 2014 and will produce a final plan for each RBD by December 2015.
Plans are available for the following River Basin Districts:
- Anglian
