The House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee continues its inquiry into drought preparedness in England by hearing from water company representatives.

The session will take place on Wednesday 21 January from 10am. It can be followed live or afterwards on Parliament TV.
Giving evidence at 10am will be:
- Deborah Feldhaus, Head of Water Resources, Yorkshire Water;
- Geoff Darch, Head of Strategic Asset Planning, Anglian Water;
- Doug Clarke, Water Resources Planning Lead, Severn Trent.
Questions from the committee will cover the following areas:
- confidence in future demand modelling;
- leakage;
- water supply and storage measures;
- drought actions and permits;
- public engagement and messaging;
- emergency drought plans.
