Lee-Dickens secure significant order for drainage board telemetry

Lee-Dickens has received a significant order from Water Management Alliance (WMA), one of the company’s long-term Internal Drainage Board (IDB) customers - Lee-Dickens will be supplying telemetry to at least a further 75 pumping stations and remote watercourses.

The WMA consists of seven coastal IDBs which oversee water management and drainage operating in South Lincolnshire, East Anglia and in the South East. Members include Broads IDB, East Suffolk WMB, King's Lynn IDB, Norfolk Rivers IDB, Pevensey & Cuckmere WLMB, South Holland IDB and Waveney, Lower Yare and Lothingland IDB.

 Intelligent Midi-10 Remote Terminal Units provide monitoring and automated controls for all the pumping stations, and ultra lower power RTUs are used for remote locations where there is no power.

The Northamptonshire-headquartered firm specialises in the design and manufacture high integrity industrial and military process monitoring and control systems.

Lee Dickens’ secure cloud-based Sitewatch Anywhere platform allows live monitoring and control of pumping stations from any device with internet access. Users receive alarms via email and SMS. The platform provides comprehensive telemetry and alarm reporting, enabling efficient drainage and flood monitoring.

Features include automated and dynamic pumping controls and preferred pumping times, we ensure that our customers' pumping stations operate smoothly and effectively.
