EBIOATLAS Matthew-VarneyThe International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and NatureMetrics have announced a partnership to create the world’s largest eDNA database to help water companies monitor biodiversity risk. 

 The Environment Agency has published a paper setting out its position on accepting DNA-based methods for environmental monitoring and decision-making in the absence of a regulated framework to validate the methods.
