Sembcorp Bournemouth Water has announced two senior Board level appointments.

Peter Millward has become Chairman of the Board while Philippa Goodwin has been appointed as Finance Director.

Peter Millward joined the Board in 2009 as a Non-Executive Director and was previously Chairman of the audit committee. He also serves as a Trustee and Chairman of the audit committee of WaterAid, the industry's main charity.

He was a Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1984 to 2007 with experience in both utilities and the downstream oil and gas industries.

Philippa Goodwin, a chartered management accountant (ACMA), becomes one of two executive directors on SBW's Board. The other is Roger Harrington, Managing Director.

Previously Divisional Finance Director at Ageas Insurance managing the Rias and Castle Cover brands, she has also held senior commercial finance roles at Centrica, the AA and Motorola.
