German headquartered company Skion Water GmbH has further strengthened its presence in the UK water sector with the strategic acquision of Enpure Ltd.

SKion Water – through its operational subsidiaries Ovivo, EnviroWater Group, ELIQUO WATER GROUP, Enpure, Paques, Ecopreneur, ADASA, inCTRL and Matten – is a technology and solution provider, as well as a plant manufacturer, in both municipal and industrial water and wastewater technology. Skion Water also invests in innovative water technology companies if the respective technology is a fit with the existing portfolio.

Enpure Ltd. specialises in water, wastewater and sludge treatment as well as waste-to-energy solutions with a global presence. Based in the UK, the process engineering company has become a 0wholly-owned subsidiary of SKion Water Group.
Enpure provides treatment solutions incorporating its specialist knowledge in filtration, purification, sludge treatment, biogas upgrading and anaerobic digestion of various feedstocks including sewage sludge, food waste and farming by-products.
Key capabilities include feasibility assessments, concept development, design & engineering, construction and commissioning of turn-key projects along with the operation and maintenance of assets.
The company delivers complex projects ranging from desalination plants in the Middle East to Energyfrom-Waste plants in the Midlands, UK.

In September 2022 SKion Water also announced the acquisition of UK-based software firm FIDO Tech Ltd. and a follow-on investment led by Emerald Technology Ventures to accelerate growth of its disruptive water leak technology.
