EA Water Company InfographicWater company efforts to protect the environment have been described as ‘simply unacceptable’ in an Environment Agency (EA) report published today with only one of the major water and sewage companies in England performing at the level expected.

The Environment Agency has announced that it has cut its CO2 emissions by almost a fifth since 2006/07. And it urged other large organisations to improve their environmental reporting and performance.
