Customers should drive the creation of a new competitive water market in England, according to Mark Powles, chief executive of Business Stream, Scotland’s largest provider of non-domestic water and waste water services.

Water consortium gains academy status

 

The 4Delivery Alliance, a contracting consortium of Costain, MWH and Veolia Water has gained National Skills Academy for Construction (NSAfC) status for the next three years.

 

In its latest trading update ahead of its interim results on 22 August 2012, integrated support services company, Carillion plc said its pipeline of contract opportunities has grown to £35 billion during the first six months of 2012.

 

Thames Water has reduced the time in which it can locate leakage hotspots with state-of-the-art technology from Israeli water network monitoring firm TaKaDu.
