Galliford Try - AMP5 revenues are building up

Galliford Try plc said today that its AMP5 water sector revenues are building up with the publication of its annual results for the year ended 30 June 2011.

Hydro International’s interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2011 demonstrate that the wastewater treatment company has enjoyed strong revenue growth during the period, while its order book has nearly doubled.

Anglian starts £1.5M reservoir project

Anglian Water is due to start work later this month on a £1.5 million scheme to renovate an underground reservoir in Ipswich.

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has referred the proposed UK joint venture between Anglo American and Lafarge  to the Competition Commission.

Profits up 23% at Costain

Costain, one of the UK's leading engineering solutions providers, has announced another strong performance with profit before tax up 23%, with the publication of its interim results for the half-year ended 30 June 2011.

 

Aqua Resources Fund Limited, the Authorised Closed-ended investment scheme managed by FourWinds Capital Management and established to invest in global water opportunities, has reported a “precipitous decline” in the share price of China Hydroelectric Corporation, one of Aqua's investments, with the publication of its unaudited interim results for the six month period ending 30 June 2011.
