Scottish Water Business Stream Ltd has awarded a contract for customer tracing services worth an estimated £1.8 million.
Kettering-based firm Hydrosave UK Ltd has won the contract to provide gap and trace management services, which involves tracing commercial occupiers of premises. The company was one of two suppliers in the bidding for the work.
Business Stream is the water retail business set up in 2006 by Scottish Water to compete in Scotland's non-domestic water market. The company is planning to compete in the English retail market when it opens in April 2017.
