Yorkshire Water tenders £290m minor civils framework contract

Yorkshire Water is looking to establish a dual lot, multi-supplier framework to service the business requirement for civil works across its estate covering all civil engineering based activity which would not be completed by Tier 1 partners.

Lot 1: Minor Civil and Building works and building works

Minor civil and building works associated with selected above or below ground assets on operational treatment, collection or distribution facilities involving structures as one-off projects. “Minor” work would generally (but not exclusively) be considered as the construction of structures below 2 m in height, excavation to depths not exceeding 1.2m and repairs/modifications to existing structures where access is feasible from simple fixed or mobile scaffolding platforms.

Lot 2: Specialist activities for water retaining structures.

The initial contract term will be for 5 years, with a further 3 years extension option

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 10th September 2018 – click here to access the tender documentation.
