Anglian Water is looking for supply chain input and expertise on efficiency and optimisation opportunities across its water recycling network.

The water company has issued a Periodic Indicative Notice inviting interested supplier to complete a market engagement questionnaire ahead of going out to tender with a formal contract notice later in the year.

Anglian Water is undertaking market research with regard to efficiency and optimisation opportunities across its water recycling network and is looking for suppliers who are able to provide expertise in the following areas:

• wastewater pumping optimisation
• aeration optimisation
• sludge optimisation
• ventilation and odour control optimisation
• chemical process optimisation
• sludge treatment centre heat balance optimisation

Anglian Water wants to achieve a better understanding of the feasibility of its requirements, as well as assessing the capability of the market, its interest in delivering the water company’s requirements and any possible risks or issues that might not have been previously considered.
