Ministry of Defence awards £10m-plus contract for supply of water, wastewater and ancillary services

The Ministry of Defence has awarded a contract for supply of water, wastewater and ancillary services to MOD sites in England worth an estimated £10.26 million in total.

The requirement was to supply water and wastewater services to specified Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites in England, as well as providing ancillary services to the sites on an as required basis.

The MOD ran a further competition utilising a framework put in place by the Crown Commercial Service for the provision of a One Stop Shop option.

The procurement was covered by the Government Procurement Agreement.

Castle Water Ltd have been awarded the contract – the only company on the framework who bid for the work.
