United Utilities is seeking supply chain input ahead of going out to tender with an AMP8 contract for supply, delivery and install of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps with an estimated total value of £78 million (inc VAT).

The water company has launched a preliminary market engagement exercise to engage with the market in the form of a detailed questionnaire to understand how the information can help drive the next strategy for all pump applications and spares supporting new and legacy kit.

The engagement deadline is 12 June 2026.

Looking ahead, current estimated start and end contract dates are 31 March 2027 to 30 March 2037
