Yorkshire Water has awarded an AMP8 contract for electricity and gas supply with metering services wiuth an estimated value of £1.14 billion including VAT.

Scope of works covered by the procurement includes:
- A flexible electricity supply contract
- A flexible gas supply contract
- The provision of MOP (Meter Operator) and DC/DA (Data Collection / Data Aggregation) services alongside full meter management for electricity.
- The provision of a MAM (Meter Asset Manager) and DC/DA (Data Collection / Data Aggregation) services alongside full meter management for gas.
The contract has been awarded to Engie Power Ltd - award decision date was 8 September 2026 and earliest date the contract will be signed is 18 September 2026
Current estimated start and end contract dates 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2030 with further possible extension options up to 30 September 2033.
