The Environment Agency has published a new economic assessment to aid planning for flooding and coastal risk management over the next 50 years which says an annual average investment of £1 billion-plus is needed between now and 2065.
The Environment Agency has gone out to with a contract for flood and coastal risk management services worth an estimated £68 million – the third multi-million pound tender put out by the Agency in the last two weeks.
