Saint-Gobain PAM UK has won £multi million contracts to supply pipes, fittings, valves and hydrants to the Western Procurement Hub.
The Hub comprises Wessex Water, Welsh Water, Bristol Water and Bournemouth Water. The company has also won a contract to supply access covers and frames to Wales and West Utilities as part of the deal.
The contract was split into three tenders including pipes and fittings; valves and hydrants; and access covers and frames. A number of competitors bid for all three tenders. All three agreements cover a term of up to six years.
Commenting on the wins, Mark Esling, Saint-Gobain PAM UK’s Business Development Director, said:
“While our tenders were found to be the most economically advantageous for the client, it is also true that our exceptional service package, including a dedicated sales team and technical site support played a role in helping us to secure the contracts. We are looking forward to working as collaboratively as possible with the Western Procurement Hub.”
